Mustafa Ozilgen

Mustafa Özilgen is a Chemical Engineer with BS and MS degrees from the Middle East Technical University (Ankara, Turkey) and PhD degree from University of California, (Davis, USA) and a professor at Yeditepe University (Istanbul, Turkey). He is an author of four internationally and one locally published books, including “Handbook of Food Process Modeling and Statistical Quality Control, Taylor and Francis, 2nd ed. USA, 2011”. “Artistic Narrative of Technology, Yeditepe University Press, Istanbul, Turkey, 2011” and “Biothermodynamis, Principles and applications (with Esra Sorgüven) Taylor & Francis, USA, 2016”. He has approximately 100 research articles published in the refereed international journals. His recent research focuses on medical applications of thermodynamics, improving exergy efficiency and decreasing environmental impact of industrial food processing and food waste valorization.
